Biography and current research
Ambarnil has 10+ years of experience in computational biology with a strong background in Molecular Biology (MS) and Microbiology (BS). His research experiences and interests include branches of computational genomics, structure-based drug design & biological big data analyses.
He joined Shields Lab in 2019 as a research fellow and his fellowship is funded by European Union’s Horizon2020 research and innovation programme under Marie Skłodowska-Curie Caree-FIT grant. The area of his project is: charcterising proteolysis and developing software/webserver for the analysis of proteolysis data obtained from food digestion. In this project, as an industrial secondment, he is working with Carbery Group, Cork, Ireland.
