Biography and current research
Nikunj has a Bachelor’s in Bioinformatics from SASTRA University, India and a Masters in Bioinformatics from Kings College London, UK.
His PhD project, funded by the Wellcome Trust, is to mine for lantibiotic peptides from bacterial genomes and to study their evolutionary dynamics.
He has submitted his thesis and is awaiting for the viva.
