Biography and current research

In 2010-2014 I studied a bachelor of science in Microbiology at the University of Leeds and completed a one year internship in the DNA sequencing department of GlaxoSmithKline. Currently, I am in the third year of the Wellcome Trust funded Computational Infection Biology PhD programme.

My research focusses on the host species-specificity of virus infections, by comparing whole proteomes, protein-protein interactions and immunofluorescence images of infected cells.

Primary supervisor: Dr Gerald Barry
